Saints add 17 undrafted free agents

The Saints have reached deals with 17 undrafted free agents, the club said Monday.

The group includes one quarterback: Middle Tennessee State’s Logan Kilgore. The 6-foot-3, 206-pound Kilgore joins Luke McCown and Ryan Griffin as backups to Drew Brees. Kilgore completed 216-of-355 passes (60.8 percent) for 2,507 yards with 16 touchdowns and 13 picks in 2013 for the Blue Raiders.

The Saints also agreed to a deal with 6-foot-6, 225-pound Rutgers wide receiver Brandon Coleman, who hauled in 34 passes for 538 yards and four TDs in 2013.

Here are the Saints’ other undrafted free-agent additions: Grand Valley offensive lineman Matthew Armstrong, Northwest Missouri State defensive back Brian Dixon, Boston College outside linebacker Kasim Edebali, Sam Houston State running back Tim Flanders, Brigham Young linebacker Spencer Hadley, Louisiana-Monroe tight end Je’Ron Hamm, McNeese State tight end Nic Jacobs, Valdosta State wide receiver Seantavius Jones, Louisiana-Lafayette defensive lineman Brandon McCray, Michigan State offensive lineman Micajah Reynolds, USC defensive lineman George Uko, Colorado outside linebacker Chidera Uzo-Diribe, Valdosta State defensive lineman Lawrence Virgil, Jacksonville State safety Pierre Warren and Kansas State safety Ty Zimmerman.
