Aaron Glenn spent 15 years playing cornerback in the NFL and now he’ll be passing along what he learned over that time with members of the Browns secondary.

Seth Walder of the New York Daily News reports that Glenn has been hired as an assistant defensive backs coach in Cleveland. Glenn will leave his job as a Jets scout, which he started in 2012 when Browns coach Mike Pettine was the defensive coordinator under Rex Ryan.

Glenn spent eight years with the Jets after they made him a first-round pick in the 1994 draft and made two Pro Bowls while picking off 24 passes before moving on to Houston. Glenn made another Pro Bowl with the Texans and later played for the Cowboys, Jaguars and Saints before retiring with 41 interceptions.

The Browns have Jeff Hafley on staff as their defensive backs coach and also have Bobby Babich as an assistant for the position group.
