Redskins sign two more, including Lache Seastrunk

Lache Seastrunk AP

You know NFL rookie contracts have become rote when a guy can’t even get his own Twitter picture to himself.

The Redskins just sent out word that third-round guard Spencer Long and sixth-round running back Lache Seastrunk had signed their rookie deals, with the obligatory photos of each one signing the documents.

Seastrunk has an opportunity to find a role for the Redskins with his explosive ability, and the fact he has a a significant booster on the roster helps as well.

But until he learns to catch the ball a bit better, it will be hard to justify taking carries away from Alfred Morris to put that speed on display.

People are idiots. And who’s going to be a bust? The 6th round Seastrunk? Can a 6th rounder be a bust. Guess what guys, just because you have a thought and a keyboard, doesn’t mean it’s always wise to share.

This guy has speed. Very good draft pick, especially getting him in the 6th round

Another great 6th round draft pick it feels good to have a good FO. The clown show that was Synderrato is long gone and forgotten.

Trent Murphy is an interesting pick by Washington. The guy has a motor and has good short quickness. He can rush the passer. But I sense he may be insurance in case Orakpo leaves after this year.
