The Eagles have reached deals with two more draft picks.

The club announced the signings of Florida cornerback Jaylen Watkins (fourth round) and Oregon defensive end Taylor Hart (fifth round) on its website Monday.

The 5-foot-11, 194-pound Watkins notched 133 tackles, broke up 21 passes and hauled in three interceptions in 45 career games with the Gators. He could compete for playing time in “sub” packages for the Eagles.

Hart (6-6, 281) played for Eagles coach Chip Kelly for three seasons (2010-2012) at Oregon. In four seasons with the Ducks, Hart recorded 169 tackles and 15 sacks. He likely figures as a reserve on the Eagles’ three-player defensive line.

Louisville outside linebacker Marcus Smith (first round), Vanderbilt wide receiver Jordan Matthews (second round) and Stanford safety Ed Reynolds (fifth round) are the Eagles’ remaining unsigned draft picks.

In another transaction Monday, the Eagles signed first-year defensive back Davon Morgan and waived undrafted rookie cornerback John Fulton, the club said.

I think both of these guys will stick around for the 53 man roster. Watkins is playing the 5th corner/4th safety role and Taylor Hart is an underrated backup.

Wondering what the Eagle fans think of Mr mouth claiming he is the best running back in football. McCoy is certainly among the best. Is it necessary or helping his status to anoint himself the best.

The only guy who got away with self-promoting was Ali and McCoy isn’t there not even close.

Hart will stick around. He’s an Oregon guy, which gives him an inside track with Chip. Plus if there is one position the Eagles have a few guys that are not producing for what they are paid, it’s DE. Either way, with his size, he could be a solid 3-4 DE.

Watkins is on the roster without a doubt. Most likely he’ll be the first backup on the outside (they like keeping Boykin in the slot), and groomed to take over Williams’s spot next year.

I think Reynolds makes the roster, just because we have a desert at the S spot, and he will contribute on special teams right away.

I doubt any of them will be contribute on a major level this year, but all 6 of the picks will make the roster, except maybe Beau Allen. But even he may even make the roster, since we have no true NT on the roster
