The Jets have added a pair of veteran players who participated in the club’s weekend rookie minicamp.

The club has signed linebacker A.J. Edds and offensive lineman Markus Zusevics, the team said Monday.

In related moves, the Jets waived wide receiver Dwight Jones and offensive lineman Jacolby Ashworth.

Edds, 26, has had NFL stints with the Dolphins, Patriots and Colts. He has notched 13 career tackles in 11 regular season games, all in 2011. He was most recently with the Patriots, who waived him last August. Edds missed the 2010 and 2012 seasons because of ACL injuries.

Zusevics, 25, spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons on injured reserve with the Patriots (pectoral). New England waived him in March. Like Edds, Zusevics is an Iowa product.
