The Patriots and Redskins will practice together in Richmond, Virginia in the three days preceding the preseason opener for both clubs on August 7, the teams announced Monday.

The practices, which are slated for Monday, August 4 through Wednesday, August 6, will be held at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center, where Washington holds training camp.

The Redskins and Patriots play at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland on Thursday, August 7.

The Patriots participated in a similar series of practices with the Eagles last August in Philadelphia before the clubs met in the preseason.

The public can attend the Patriots-Redskins practices. Admission is free of charge.

Sounds like a good idea. Their first year in Richmond last year, was a huge success. It could even make their first preseason game together, even more competitive. I’m sure

With the preseason activities cut back substantially in the last CBA, this is a good way to get more out of training camp days.

Nick Foles learnt a lot from Brady during last years joint practices which helped him produce. RG3 shoul be ecstatic at this news.

Billicheat is so confident in this match up that he gave the audio/video crew time off

Why would there be trash talking about a training camp/pre-season practice?

That’s really tempting God — the two most despised teams on the same practice field. Watch out for a sudden earthquake, tornado, lightening storm…

Over three days practicing together, trash talking is going to happen. That’s why.

Pats need to “spy out” RG3.

Good to hear this….Nicely done and good decision to do this.

I also like it despite what some people it has been proven RG3 is not a diva and he is willing to learn from people like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Sonny Jurgensen.

Cary Williams and (I believe it was) Aaron Dobson got into it during last years joint practices and then I think they were both ejected from the preseason game for getting into early in the game

The skins should go 4 Tom’s knee

Hope Redskins do background ck on Pats players… hard to say who that classless group will attempt to put on the field!

  18. revren10 says: May 20, 2014 9:21 PM

So we will get to see RG Bust get dominated by the patriots defense

Redskins appear to have been duped…

I’m seeing Longest Yard, with the Redskins being the good guys here…

though promoted by Goodell, Pats are a no class org…
