Jaguars sign rookie Storm Johnson, film at 11

Jaguars Rookie Minicamp Football AP

Moments after we all became amateur meteorologists predicting the Feburary 2018 snowfall totals for Minneapolis, the Jaguars signed a guy who sounds like a weatherman.

According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars signed running back Storm Johnson today.

The seventh-round pick from Central Florida is the second of their picks to signed, but the first who should be standing in front of a map talking about Doppler radar.

Actually, Johnson’s in a pretty good position to contribute, as they Jags have some question marks in Jordan Todman and Denard Robinson behind starter Toby Gerhart.

At the very least, call it a partly sunny forecast.

They have question at starter too, Gerhart has never carried the load before.

Storm could really help the Jags.

The quarterback in that picture looks like he’s doing a Desmond Howard Heisman pose.

Could turn out to be a good group of backs with Johnson and Gerhart to wear other teams down and Robinson as a change of pace.

Storm was a stud at UCF. I agree he’s going to end up a fantasy sleeper.

I was at the rookie camp on Friday and this kid had a NICE run around he edge. He got he corner, put a little shake on the safety and TOOK OFF! Very excited to see what he can do.

The author may have question marks about Todman, but he did a pretty nice job spelling MJD last year.
