Former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly had his first round of chemotherapy to fight a recurrence of sinus cancer last month and he had his final round on Tuesday.
Kelly’s wife Jill posted a picture of her and her husband on Instagram with a sign announcing that Kelly had completed that segment of the treatment. She also said that he has four rounds of radiation to go to complete the entire protocol that doctors came up with to battle the disease.
Kelly filmed a video thanking fans for their support earlier this month. His wife mentioned the strain that the treatments were taking on him and the toll is visible in the picture she posted on Tuesday.
We hope that the treatments have taken a bigger toll on Kelly’s cancer and that his fight is successful enough that there are many future posts about him hitting positive milestones in his recovery.
