The Minnesota Vikings have nearly wrapped up the signings for the 10 members of their 2014 draft class.

Defensive end Scott Crichton announced via his Twitter account that he had officially signed his rookie contract with the team. As per league rules, Crichton’s deal is a four-year contract.

Crichton is the ninth member of Minnesota’s draft class to sign with the team. Only fellow third-round pick, running back Jerick McKinnon, remains unsigned.

Crichton was named to the All-Pac-12 Conference second-team as a senior at Oregon State. Crichton posted 47 tackles with 7.5 sacks for the Beavers. He set a school record with 10 forced fumbles and is third all-time at Oregon State with 22.5 sacks.

The Minnesota Vikings now have the most depth of any Defensive Line in the NFL.

With Everson Griffen, Brian Robinson, Anthony Barr, Linval Joseph, Sharrif Floyd and Scott Crichton rotating in, I don’t see how any offensive line will be able to block them throughout a game.

We will have a top 10 defense next year with Mike Zimmer leading us, who’s never not had a top 10 defense in his whole career as a Defensive Coordinator.

    This is our season.

Let the purple & gold confetti fall.

glad to see everyone getting signed. holdouts don’t serve the team, players, or fans. we like to see ‘em all signed and in OTA’s and camps. … of course those that need to return to school can’t be helped.

And yet if he was on the Packers he would improve their defense tremendously, year in and out they sign up for the circus and they wonder why they get those results!

He will have plenty of incentive with the Vikings considering they gave $42 million to another DE with a total of 1 career start. That’s not a typo, that’s one career start. $42 million.

Prior to that, they paid $17 million a season to Jared Allen to disappear for games at a time and eventually come up with less than a dozen sacks.

So apparently, production doesn’t mean much when the Vikings pay their DE’s so the sky is the limit for this kid.

Bridgewater will take the attention away from the rest of the busts from the 2014 Viking draft class.

Green Bay’s big FA signings…Ex Viking Letroy Guion and the unmotivated Juslius Peppers? Now that is a waste of money.

objects in your mirror are close then they appear… this team could be interesting to watch if they can finally figure out the quarterback.

Lots of positive buzz out of rookie mini camp regarding Bridgewater. I certainly think there’s a realistic possibility of a serious turnaround for the Vikes this year. Solid, deep d line, improving receiving corps, good tight end and a still great running back, stout offensive line, good special teams…wow! If the secondary and linebackers show just a little teeny bit more, we could be a tough team to beat.

All teams play clown music when preparing to beat your Vikings sweetheart.

Blow Pack Blow!!!! You have to read our news because you have no news.. It doesn’t matter who lines up against Brian Bulaga , he couldn’t block Carl Eller at his current age. You losers are on your way down . While we have one of the youngest teams in the NFL that is full of talent, the sack is full of misses in the draft and an injury prone qb with no o-line. Keep not signing free agents to protect your whole team (gay-rod). When he goes down your season is over. Matt Flynn aint coming in to throw 6 touchdowns, he will most likely come in and throw 6 picks like his real self did on the 8 teams he played on the last couple years.. Enjoy looking up at us for the next ten years. Finally the Vikings got smart and hired a real coach and drafted our franchise qb. Thats all they needed to beat you cheese and linencougals drinking , packers. SKOL 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
