The Bills have concluded their draft pick signings.

Offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, a second-round selection who could push for a starting role as a rookie, has signed with Buffalo, the club said Thursday.

The 6-foot-7, 322-pound Kouandjio was a two-season starter at Alabama (2012-2013). He suffered a torn ACL and MCL as a freshman in 2011, but the knee reportedly received a positive testimonial from Dr. James Andrews before the draft.

After the draft, Bills G.M. Doug Whaley called Kouandjio a “prototypical right tackle” and indicated the club was not worried about the tackle’s health.

“We’re excited about his size and his length and what he may lack in a little foot quickness, he’ll make up in length and make them take a bigger arc to get to the quarterback,” Whaley said, according to a transcript from the club.

Kouandjio was the second of seven players selected by the Bills in the 2014 NFL Draft.
