On the third day of OTAs in Washington, newly-arrived receiver DeSean Jackson injured his leg.
Via CSNWashington.com, Jackson says he’s fine.
“It’s just a little tight,” Jackson said regarding a hamstring he appeared to tweak while running a deep route. “It’s not no big issue.”
Coach Jay Gruden was even less chatty, calling the injury a slight pull and saying “that happens to receivers.”
Jackson reportedly was making a good impression in the helmets-and-no-pads session. It won’t matter until the real games begin, and Jackson wants to prove that the Eagles erred badly by treating the guy who’s wearing No. 1 in practice like something other than No. 1.
