Broncos sign another pick, get Cody Latimer under contract

Cody Latimer AP

The Broncos were among the last teams to sign a draft pick, but they’re showing it doesn’t have to be that hard.

Wide receiver Cody Latimer just tweeted out word that he had signed his deal.

The Broncos snagged the Indiana wideout in the second round, 56th overall. He has the chance to ease in without the burden of expectation behind a talented group of receivers, but the departure of Eric Decker creates an opportunity for him.

The Broncos signed a seventh-rounder earlier in the day, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they got more done in the coming days.

This guy would immediately be KC’s best offensive player– maybe best overall.

    Better than Decker.
