Houston Texans third-round draft pick Louis Nix III has been sidelined from participating in the team’s OTAs.

The massive nose tackle out of Notre Dame has been dealing with a minor undisclosed injury that has kept him on the sidelines of the Texans’ offseason practices.

However, head coach Bill O’Brien doesn’t seem particularly concerned about Nix’s inability to practice.

“He’s got something wrong with him but I’m not sure what it is,” O’Brien said Monday, via the team’s official website. “I think he’ll be fine.”

The Texans traded fourth- and fifth-round picks to the Philadelphia Eagles to move up and select Nix in the third round.
