Two Ravens have June court dates

Off-field problems have been a major story in Baltimore this offseason, and two Ravens will be dealing with their off-field problems in court this month.

Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports that Ravens offensive lineman Jah Reid has a June 4 court date and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro has a June 26 court date. Reid is accused of punching, kicking and head-butting a man at a strip club, while Taliafero is accused of breaking the window of a cab.

Reid and Taliaferro are two of four Ravens arrested this offseason. Ravens receiver Deonte Thompson was also arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana, and Ravens running back Ray Rice was arrested for assaulting his wife.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said last week that he’s “very concerned” and “disappointed in some of the silliness that’s gone on.”

Beating your wife is hardly silliness, but then again it’s the coach of the Ravens who said it. It’s really not a surprise from their coach .

    Joe Flacco is elite.

Consistency is the hallmark of a great organization. Commitment to winning with criminals over the long haul proves this to be true in the case of the Ravens.

Probably be quicker to list the ravens that DON’T have a court date coming up.

Or simply report when the team bus pulls up infront of the court building.

Can someone please explain to me how you can get arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana. Wouldn’t the suspicion be confirmed or denied immediately upon search?

Given the team Deonte plays for, I’m sure he deserved to be arrested for multiple things, but suspicion of possession shouldn’t be one of them.

Get ready for the frequent articles highlighting the Baltimore Criminals. They are pushing to be the worst team in the league.. their mantle? A Murderer statue in the city (Ray Lewis). Cheers!

Still don’t know what happened with Rice. So unless you can provide proof that any assault occurred, please just shut up.

Deonte Thompson is a nobody and this rookie RB will probably never be heard from again. As for Jah Reid… He was at a strip club. People were and because as a pro-athlet with money… He was getting all the action.

and if you don’t understand what happened in Atlanta after all this time, then there’s no hope for you. Ray Lewis didn’t murder anyone. He may have knowledge of a murder, and refused to put his friend in jail, but he didn’t murder anyone.

And for those reasons you worship Ray Lewis? I am sorry , but that’s pretty funny a person obstructing justice is your….oh okay I forgot you are a Ravens fan and they love their criminals.

I just love how everyone likes to sit on their high horse. This is football you morons. Go back through the history of the game and you’ll find countless players with domestic, drug and other problems. It takes a certain type of person to play this game. 90% of you, myself icluded, would poop their pants if they ever suited up and got on the field with these guys. It is today’s social media that is finally putting it all in context. If you love this game you would stop posting anything negative. The media is killing this game and you are just adding onto it.
