The Broncos were among the last teams to sign a draft pick, and now they’re two-thirds of the way finished.
The team announced that fifth-round linebacker Lamin Barrow signed his rookie deal today, after they signed three picks yesterday.
Barrow was LSU’s leading tackler and team captain last year, and that stood out to the Broncos.
“I think his football character, what he brings to the table and his mindset,” coach John Fox said after choosing Barrow. “We look at guys that made captains and what they’ve brought to a big-time program even in college, and been in big spots, been in big games. Of course, he’s a very explosive guy that can play all three downs as a linebacker early in his career.”
With Barrow in the fold, the Broncos only have two unsigned picks — first-rounder Bradley Roby and third-rounder Michael Schofield.
