Add this to the list of unusual things to have happened to Cleveland’s pro football franchise.

According to The Associated Press, an unidentified New Mexico man with designs on trying out for the Browns walked onto the club’s practice field during organized team activities on Tuesday. Ultimately, he was escorted from the facility without trouble, the team said, according to the AP.

Via the AP, the man was a former high school player who looked to be in his “mid-20s.”

The NFL does hold a series of tryouts in the winter and early spring for players seeking to break into the league.

A little concerning that someone can just walk onto the practice field. Glad this nut just wanted a try out and wasn’t a total whack job with guns who wanted to go down in a blaze of glory killing football players! Scary times. Let’s secure the fields, whatdaya say?

If I’m a player I’m furious about this.

Imagine the worst here, what if this guy had bad intentions?

Can you or I walk into a high security work place with that much ease? Then why can someone do it in the NFL?

This has to be looked at and learned from.
