The Falcons might want to look at some kids in the wake of linebacker Sean Weatherspoon’s season-ending Achilles tear, but they also realize they need someone who has some experience.
According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com, the Falcons are bringing veteran linebacker Tim Dobbins in for a visit.
The 31-year-old linebacker has played for the Chargers, Dolphins and Texans. He has just 22 starts in eight seasons, but is a good special teams player and would provide some mentorship for a group of rookies and second-year players.
The Falcons might also look at players such as Jonathan Vilma as well.
