Panthers quarterback Cam Newton made some comments about his contract and the team’s receivers on Wednesday, giving us a couple of things to discuss on Thursday’s edition of PFT Live.
Darin Gantt and Mike Florio will discuss Newton’s contract situation and the impact that the deal Colin Kaepernick signed with the 49ers might have on his chances of landing a long-term agreement with Carolina. They’ll also talk about whether or not the receiving corps is going to hinder Newton in the season to come or if the concerns about losing the likes of Steve Smith, Brandon LaFell and Domenik Hixon have been overstated.
