Sarah Harbaugh, wife of San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, didn’t hold back earlier this year when expressing her hatred for the clothing decisions her husband makes when he leaves the house.

Harbaugh’s wardrobe typically consists of a long-sleeved black shirt and tan, pleated khakis.

I will not take the blame for his outfits,” Sarah Harbaugh said in January. “I’ve thrown them away many of times. I’ve asked him ‘Please, pleats are gone. Wear the flat front. He has a flattering body.”

Now the Harbaughs are appearing in an advertisement for 49ers stadium title sponsor Levi’s poking fun at the 49ers head coach’s lack of diversity with his clothing decisions.

The endorsement for Levi’s “Dockers” brand features Sarah Harbaugh campaigning against pleated khaki pants, which she refers to as “dad pants.” Jim also makes an appearance sporting a flat-front version of his beloved tan pants.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, the 49ers gave Harbaugh permission to reach endorsement deals with team sponsors last year instead of giving him a contract extension. Levi’s is one of the team’s most visible sponsors with their name on the 49ers brand new stadium in Santa Clara.
