Giants tight end Larry Donnell departed Wednesday’s minicamp practice in an ambulance due to the heat, according to multiple reports from club beat writers.

Donnell had an “apparent heat-related problem,” Jordan Raanan of NJ.com said on Twitter.

Per WeatherUnderground.com, temperatures are in the low 90s in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the Giants are headquartered.

The 25-year-old Donnell is a second-year pro from Grambling. He played all 16 games for the Giants in 2013, catching three passes for 31 yards.
