The Steelers have signed a rookie to their offensive backfield and waived a rookie from their defensive backfield.
On offense, the Steelers have added Jordan Hall, a tailback from Ohio State. The 5-foot-9, 191-pound Hall rushed for 1,568 yards and 14 touchdowns in five seasons with the Buckeyes.
Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount are the Steelers’ top two backs, and rookie receiver/tailback Dri Archer is a cinch to make the roster, leaving the undrafted Hall as one of the Steelers’ options should they keep a fourth back. Hall returned kickoffs and punts for the Buckeyes, adding to his value.
Belue (5-11, 182) played collegiately at Alabama. He originally signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in May.
