Titans take a look at Quentin Groves, Marvin Mitchell

Groves

These are nervous times for veteran players without jobs, since teams are carrying 90 guys.

So you go and work out whenever you can.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean, the Titans brought linebackers Quentin Groves and Marvin Mitchell in for a visit Monday.

Groves was just released by the Browns. He has some edge-rush ability, and remains a solid special teams player. Mitchell spent the last two years with the Vikings.

The Titans didn’t sign either one, and there has been some indication of interest in Groves from others.

But for now, he’s waiting for the phone to ring.
