The Giants added a pair of former Vikings draft picks on Thursday, signing offensive tackle DeMarcus Love and defensive tackle Everett Dawkins, per the NFL’s transaction report.
The 26-year-old Love was most recently with the Jaguars, who released him earlier in June. He was a sixth-round selection in 2011.
Dawkins, 24, was waived by the Buccaneers last week. The Vikings took him in Round Seven of the 2013 draft. He appeared in one regular season game for Dallas, which signed him off of Minnesota’s practice squad.
With Love and Dawkins signing on, rookie defensive tackle Eathyn Manumaleuna (BYU) and first-year offensive tackle Steven Baker (East Carolina) were waived in corresponding roster moves by New York.
