The Titans have had a full offseason program to take stock of their roster and they have decided to make a change at tight end.
Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that the team has signed journeyman Dorin Dickerson after Dickerson tried out for the team this week. Dickerson, who appears to have confirmed the news on Twitter, takes the place of undrafted rookie tight end David Wright on the team’s 90-man roster.
Dickerson played five games for the Lions last season, catching two passes for 34 yards. He’s also spent time with the Texans, Steelers, Patriots and Bills over the course of his career.
Dickerson has also played some fullback and receiver while bouncing around the league and will try to use that versatility to earn playing time on a depth chart that also includes Delanie Walker, Craig Stevens and Taylor Thompson.
