Chargers claim the Typographical Terror off waivers

The spell-checker’s union will be happy, and the Chargers have a full 90-man roster again.

The Chargers claimed defensive tackle Chas Alecxih off waivers from the Chiefs, according to Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego.

Alecxih (pronounced Ah-LEX-ee) is a former Pitt Panther, who spent time with the Dolphins. He was the one on Hard Knocks who told the story about being lost at sea.

That’s pretty much the career highlight.

Yes, I remember the story…..lets just hope he’s not ‘out to sea’ w/ the Chargers as well!

He should blame his ancestors for that “h” that shouldn’t be there.

He is as ugly as the spelling of his name.

Interesting orthography…without knowing anything about this guy, my money is on Albanian heritage.

They call him “Chas” which is more or less how they pronounce his given name, Khzxgvytzsghk in Herzogovnia. There is no known pronounciation of his middle name.

He should change his name. I find it offensive.

I was really torn when I saw the headline: Did I want a guy whose name was Chas Alecxih (or similar) or someone actually named Typographical Terror. Still can’t decide which I’d prefer, but this is quite the moniker. Is Chas short for something more unwieldy? Is there a middle name? Some investigative reporting is in order.

I’m with Chris Cooley. The name Chargers is offensive to me and I demand the name be changed.

He should sign with whatever team does Hard Knocks every year. And proceed to film the following 4 segments:

    1. Him telling the lost at sea story
    2. Him getting that hair cut
    3. A detailed explanation of his name
    4. Telling some J Martin, Richie Incognito stories from the good old days

His name will be known at Burger King soon. Guy won’t make the cut.

Camp body. Fluker needs punching bags.

    “Typographical Error”? Seriously?

I suppose there is a more insulting and dehumanizing nickname but I’m having trouble coming up with one.
