    He will be a TOTAL bust. Just like the last 5 QB’s they’ve drafted.

    Unless he shows that he is significantly better than Cassel and yes even Ponder. There is no reason that he should be starting right out of the gate. Give him some time to develop more behind Cassel and get accustom to the NFL’s pace. Maybe if for some reason the Vikes are 1-9 in the season then it wouldn’t hurt to start giving him some game time action to prepare him better for next year.
