The Dolphins are reportedly set to work out an offensive lineman who’s made the majority of his career starts at center.

The club will put veteran center/guard Steve Vallos through a workout on Monday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported Sunday. Jackson also earlier reported that the club will audition center Samson Satele and offensive guard Daryn Colledge.

The 30-year-old Vallos played in 15 regular season games and three playoff contests as a reserve for Denver in 2013. He has made nine NFL regular season starts, seven of which came at center. He has also made a pair of starts at guard.

In addition to Denver, Vallos has appeared in regular season games with Seattle (2008-2009), Cleveland (2010-2011), Philadelphia (2012) and Jacksonville (2012).

The Dolphins might be looking to add interior line depth with center Mike Pouncey undergoing hip surgery last week. Pouncey’s availability for the start of the regular season remains to be seen.
