RGIII will get a pre-camp tune-up from Terry Shea

Shea

Earlier in the year, quarterbacks coach Terry Shea spent a week working with Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III. Shea was impressed.

Shea will get a chance to be impressed again next week. Via John Keim of ESPN.com, Griffin will obtain a tune-up from Shea before heading to training camp.

As explained by Keim, Shea has been working on Griffin’s fundamentals, from narrowing the quarterback’s base to turning his feet with his body while in the pocket to holding the ball higher to avoid the Tebow-style catapult delivery.

Griffin faces plenty of questions regarding whether his career will reflect his performance as a rookie in 2012 or as an NFL sophomore in 2013, who struggled while recovering from a torn ACL and dealing with the dysfunction of the final season of the Shanahan regime.
