Justin Timberlake toasts Ralph Wilson in Buffalo show

Pop star Justin Timberlake delivered a tribute to deceased former Bills owner Ralph Wilson during his concert in Buffalo on Wednesday night.

Timberlake was performing in Buffalo Wednesday after an illness forced him to cancel a prior concert back in February. After finally being able to return to Western New York for the make up event, Timberlake took a moment to memorialize the long-time Bills owner.

Here’s to better late than never,” Timberlake said while raising a shot glass on stage, per the Bills’ official website. “I’m also a big sports fan. Here’s to Ralph Wilson.”

The Buffalo crowd roared in approval over the tribute to the long-time Bills owner and NFL pioneer as Timberlake slammed the shot.

I used to try to hate Justin Timberlake. It’s just impossible though. Talented class act all the way.

I used to hate all the boy bands, but Timberlake has come a long way towards respectability. His acting aint half bad either.

Was the concert in the Bills stadium or the Sabres? I’m assuming the February show woulda been inside. If this one wasn’t at the Ralph then it’s an even better tribute considering they weren’t even in Ralph’s stadium and he still went outta his way to raise his glass!

it was an awesome show, I wasn’t expecting much going In but was blown away. I couldn’t see the shot though from my crap seats. RIP Ralph

I guarantee that Timberlake had no idea who Ralph Wilson was. Some smart thinking person in his camp suggested that he mention Wilson at some point during the show to get the crowd behind him and the fans just ate it up. They got played. They do this in every city. Mention something dear to the hearts of the locals so you can have them eating out of your hands.
