The Chiefs, who won 11 games and captured the No. 5 seed in the AFC a season ago, have been voted No. 17 in PFT’s preseason power rankings.
This places the Chiefs eighth among AFC teams in our rankings. In the NBA, this garners a playoff bid, but in the NFL, teams get nary a participation ribbon for such a conference finish.
So let’s turn this over to the class. Have we ranked the Chiefs correctly among AFC teams? Are they average, which is sort of where we’ve pegged them? Are they better than that? Or could they be even worse? As always, don’t be shy.
