The Redskins have added a second fullback in advance of training camp, signing ex-Colts blocking back Stephen Campbell, the club said Tuesday.

This is the second NFL stint for the 23-year-old Campbell. He spent a little less than a month this spring with Indianapolis, which waived him in May.

A West Virginia Wesleyan product, Campbell (6-1, 245) did not play in the NFL in 2013 after his four-season collegiate stint (2009-2012). He signed with the Colts after participating in a pair of NFL combine workouts earlier this year.

In Washington, Campbell figures to get practice reps behind starting fullback Darrel Young.

Washington begins training camp on July 23 in Richmond, Virginia.

How many stints would a stint stint if a stint could stint stint.

Until they get a real QB instead of a couple of letters and a number they are going nowhere.
One of the worse QB s in the league by a mile.

    @ vikesr4reel:

Considering all the truly horrific QB’s you have assembled in Minnesota, I suppose that would make you an expert, right?

Terrible franchise though they do have a talented quarterback. He certainly is better than any scrub the Vikings try to put on the field. They might as well just put AP on the field by himself because he is the Vikings.

What about them using the Redskins name, I haven’t seen an article about that in 3 days now. What gives!

    Trolls are like little kids
They may be annoying but they always speak the truth
    RG3 is awful
Face the facts and draft someone else or grab Tebow

When I first noticed it was a Redskins story my first instinct it was mascot related and not football related.

Hopefully I’m in the minority. If not I expect that would be a bad sign for PFT.

Wait, you mean “The Washington Football Team?” Ha ha.

Even on one leg, RGIII was an average quarterback — not where we want him to be, but a far cry from the worst quarterbacks in the league. I don’t think you watch a lot of Redskins games — the offense was not the problem last year. It was special teams and defense. They have to turn it around.

This fullback is a good thing for Darryl Young. They weren’t sure if they we were keeping a full back. That’s even bigger news for Adam
