Injuries limited Giants guard Chris Snee to just three games last season. He may not even play three games this season.

Although Snee will be ready to take the field when the Giants open training camp next week, there are so many questions about his injured elbow and his two injured hips that there are some doubts about whether he can stay healthy. Snee could last 16 games, 16 days or 16 minutes, writes Jordan Raanan of NJ.com.

It was hip surgery that knocked Snee out for the season after three games last year, but it is the elbow that is the bigger concern this year. The elbow injury forced Snee to miss the end of the Giants’ offseason program.

If Snee can go, he’ll be the Giants’ starting right guard, and even if he’s at less than 100 percent, the Giants will be satisfied that he can get the job done. But if Snee can’t go, the Giants will likely go with either Brandon Mosley or John Jerry, either of whom would be a step down from Snee.
