49ers second-year tailback Marcus Lattimore was among six players placed on the club’s non-football injury list on Thursday, according to the NFL’s official transactions.

Lattimore missed the 2013 season after suffering multiple torn knee ligaments in October 2012, including his ACL. He participated in workouts this spring for San Francisco.

In addition to Lattimore, the club put five rookies on the NFI list: wide receiver Bruce Ellington, center Marcus Martin, fullback Trey Millard, defensive back Keith Reaser and offensive guard Brandon Thomas. Reaser and Millard suffered ACL tears in October, while Thomas sustained a torn ACL in a predraft workout this spring.

The 49ers also placed rookie linebacker Aaron Lynch and rookie defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey on the active/physically unable to perform list.

All seven players count against the 49ers’ 90-player roster limit.

The 49ers’ rookies reported to camp on Wednesday. Veterans report on July 23.
