Bills fill roster spots before start of training camp

Chiefs Packers Football AP

The Bills filled a pair of roster vacancies Saturday morning, bringing in a pair of guys who tried out during minicamp earlier this offseason.

The team announced they signed wide receiver Tori Gurley and cornerback Kamaal McIlwain.

The two players are from neighboring small towns in South Carolina (Rock Hill and Indian Land) and have plenty of stickers on their suitcases.

Gurley has done stints with the (take a deep breath) Packers, Vikings, Raiders, Buccaneers, Chargers, Ravens and Browns. He’s played in three NFL games and has one catch, and has now turned up with a quarter of the entire league.

McIlwain has been with the Chiefs, Falcons, Panthers and Saints at varying points.

They signed ‘em to find out where the good restaurants are when they play in those cities.

Like Ramses Barsen, Gurley is a camp body.

Liked him at SC, but he doesn’t have it.
