For a team with lots of pending medical questions entering training camp, only one is going to keep a guy off the field from the start of Giants training camp.

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Giants linebacker Jon Beason is the only player who will begin camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Beason is coming off a foot injury, and there’s no clear word on his timetable. But he didn’t need surgery, which leaves the door open for him to return for the regular season opener.

Left tackle Will Beatty, guard John Jerry and wide receiver Mario Manningham will be limited as they come back from injuries, but the fact they’re not on PUP is a good sign.
