ProFootballTalk: What are the chances Andy Dalton gets a new contract in Cincy?

Andy Dalton is entering the final year of his rookie contract and says he is confident that he’ll receive a new deal, but Mike Florio isn’t so sure.

    Maybe I’m delusional, but after watching Dalton and M Brown in separate interviews, the writing seems to be on the wall very clearly. There’s going to be a deal done…….when is the only question, but there’s going to be a deal and my guess is withing the next 30 days.

    He’ll get a deal. He’s already surpassed the Bengals wildest expectations by just making the playoffs, which happens also to be Dalton’s ceiling. Perfect fit.

    Let me rephrase……..I think a deal is done. It’s simply semantic and jumbo lawyer stuff now. Just waiting for the final copy to be handed out for signatures.

    Well then he’s definitely getting a deal. PFT is always wrong about the Bengals.

    I love how scared steelers, browns and ravens fans are……

    they know the talent is cincinnati is more than all three AFC North teams combined
