Last week, referee Gene Steratore spent three days at Saints training camp in West Virginia. After securing the appropriate dispensations from 345 Park Avenue, Steratore went on camera for an extended interview with PFT Live.
We’ll play the entire thing on Monday’s show, along with interviews from G.M. Mickey Loomis and Saints safety Jairus Byrd, who came straight from the practice field with his pads on.
Among other things, Steratore talks about the renewed emphasis on illegal contact and defensive holding, changes to the replay review process, whether pass interference should be subject to replay review, and various other topics.
