Bon Jovi’s letter backfires

BonJovi

The fans have spoken, via a PFT Poll showing that nearly 80 percent don’t believe Jon Bon Jovi would keep the Bills in Buffalo. On Tuesday’s PFT Live, Tim Graham of the Buffalo News shared some of the reaction from folks directly connected to the team.

As Graham explained, terms like “stupid” and “ridiculous” were used to describe a letter that has done nothing to improve the public confidence in Bon Jovi’s candidacy to buy the franchise.

Graham also doesn’t buy Donald Trump’s bluster that he made a $1 billion, all-cash bid. Since the initial expressions of interest entailed bids that were expressly non-binding, anyone could bid anything, without regard to whether he has the liquidity to write a check transferring $1 billion without any financing.

For more from Graham regarding the state of the efforts to sell the team and the performance of the roster on Sunday night in Canton, grab the mouse and slide the cursor over the triangle in the square in the rectangle below. In the same way that Bon Jovi possibly wants to slide the Bills from Buffalo to Toronto.
