Falcons dodge yet another injury scare with Gabe Carimi

rabbits foot

The Falcons’ season went to pot last year when their stars kept getting injured.

This year, their luck seems to have turned.

A day after defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman went from a reported broken wrist to practicing fully, they’ve dodged another bullet.

According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, tackle Gabe Carimi is believed to have only suffered a sprained ankle yesterday. Carimi had to be helped off the field by trainers.

Carimi’s working as their swing tackle in practice, adding some veteran depth to a group that was bad last year.

But if they’ve figured out the way to change their injury luck, that would be more important than any single player.

That’s why you can’t put all of your eggs into one basket, you have to have depth to make it through a long season and hopefully play in the Super Bowl. The injury bug hit the Packers a few years back but thier depth allowed them to win their last Super Bowl

Gabe Carimi a “veteran depth” piece? This guy isn’t going to make the final roster.

Carimi is awful. I can’t believe he still taking up a roster spot.

That’s a shame. He would’ve been more productive on the PUP list.

I hope Jon Asamoah is okay. Carimi started at his RG position.

Well to be fair, the majority of the Falcons’ roster are awful, so Carimi should have a great shot of making the team!

Carimi is a great “lookout he is coming” blocker………

If Gabe “first round bust in Chicago, cut in Tampa Bay” Carimi is what the Falcons call “veteran depth,” the Falcons are in trouble…

Gabe ‘ Baby Huey ‘ Carimi.

As a Bear fan, we have seen how soft he is.
Maybe take him out for a mani-pedi to relieve some stress.

Gabe Carimi reminds me of Curly Joe ( Joe Besser ) from the 3 Stooges, who’s favorite line during his routine was ‘” Ohh, not soo hard !”

    Carimi’s got a lumpy head.
