Saints owner Tom Benson was taken off the field in an ambulance at the team’s training camp practice in West Virginia today, but he’s already out of the hospital and feeling fine.

Saints V.P of Communications Greg Bensel released a statement saying Benson is OK.

“This morning, Mr. Benson left practice after not feeling well due to symptoms related to the altitude here in West Virginia,” the statement said. “He was transported to a local hospital in Lewisberg, WV and was given a series of tests, of which, doctors did not find any issues or complications. He was treated with oxygen and has been released. He is doing great and was under the care of team physician John Amoss the entire time. Mr. and Mrs. Benson thank all of those that have reached out.”

The 87-year-old Benson also suffered a fall at the league meeting in May, but the team says he’s in good health.
