Dolphins running back Knowshon Moreno recently expressed some doubt about when he’d be ready to work.

The Dolphins took care of that this morning, by taking him off the physically unable to perform list.

After an uneven series of offseason workouts, Moreno had arthroscopic knee surgery in August. That dropped him further behind incumbent running back Lamar Miller.

Getting some ballast out of Moreno would help an offense with plenty of question marks, particularly up front. His slow start to training camp won’t help that, but if he’s well now and back to his old self, he should be able to make a difference.
