Trevardo Williams lasted less than a week in Arizona.

Williams, the linebacker chosen by the Texans in the fourth round of last year’s draft, was waived by the Texans a week ago and picked up by the Cardinals. And now the Cardinals have cut Williams as well.

The Cardinals feel good enough about their depth at linebacker that they’re already paring down the position, having also cut Ernie Sims this week. Williams must not have done anything to impress during his brief stint in Arizona.

With two teams cutting him in a week, Williams now looks like a long shot to land anywhere. This 2013 fourth-round pick may be done without ever setting foot on the field for an NFL game.
