Bills get starting left tackle Cordy Glenn back

Cordy Glenn AP

Bills starting left tackle Cordy Glenn is ready to get back to work.

The Bills announced today that Glenn, who opened camp on the non-football illness list, has passed his physical. Neither Glenn nor the Bills have said what type of medical issue caused him to miss the start of camp.

With Glenn out, rookie seventh-round pick Seantrel Henderson has been working at left tackle with the first-string offense. But Glenn should be ready to step back into his starting spot, beginning with this evening’s practice.

The 24-year-old Glenn started all 16 games last year. Having him back in the fold should provide some stability to Buffalo’s offensive line.

Henderson has looked really impressive. Can’t believe my G-Men didn’t take a flier on this guy.
He definitely has 1st round talent. Already waaay better than Eric Fisher!!!LOL

I’d rank him as the 32nd starting tackle in the league. Good luck buffalol with EJ Bustuel!

Couldn’t possibly be 32nd that’s D’Brickashaws spot. Glenn is well in his way to being one of the best in the league.

    Now Buffalo can compete.

Henderson needs to keep his head focused and be prepared to at least be a swing tackle.

If he’s good enough to be one of the active 46 players he’s done everything right for sure.

Henderson is a FREAK, would have been a 1st Rnd pick if he wasn’t messing around/partying @TheU. Reminds me of Vontez Burfict LB wBengals, similar situation A LOT of talent but made mistakes over n over again&didnt show a fire.Wasn’t he like the top Rated OL coming out of HS? Size, strength, and is athletic as a TE. If he keeps his head on straight(No MaryJane), works 100% on football&His technique, instead of a being a low risk 3+Yr project/flier he could be a starting OL in this league-Sooner rather than later. Possibly before the end of this season, if not then by next yr. Buffalo now has 3 young tackles (including Glenn) that could all help them turn a weakness 0L-into a strength to grow with a young core in E.J.-C.J-Sammy&thatD esp front7 in next few yrs.
    Good luck

Aren’t you a Cleveland fan? I’d rather vote for Obama than live in that cesspool of a city.
