The Chiefs have signed first-year linebacker Devan Walker, the club said Saturday morning.

A Southeastern Louisiana product, Walker (6-3, 240) signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He was waived-injured with a knee injury last August. According to Southeastern Louisiana statistics, the 24-year-old Walker recorded 15 sacks in his collegiate career.

With Walker arriving, the Chiefs waived outside linebacker Dezman Moses, who has been dealing with an elbow injury. Moses appeared in 13 games for Kansas City in 2013, recording five tackles. The 25-year-old Moses started six games as a rookie with Green Bay in 2012.
