Bears first-round pick Kyle Fuller exits with ankle injury

kylefuller AP

Bears rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller made a quick exit from tonight’s preseason game.

Fuller, the Bears’ first-round pick, suffered an ankle injury while he was being blocked running down the field on the opening kickoff, and he went to the locker room.

The good news is the injury didn’t look serious: Fuller was walking on the sideline without assistance and did not appear to be in pain.

Reports out of Bears camp have indicated that Fuller is playing well and should be ready to play a significant role on the defense from Week One. As long as he’s healthy.

All 3 phases of the Bears look horrible. Trestman must have given them all the week off.

Two things that are pretty clear about the Bears so far. #1 they have the worst special teams in the league. #2 they can’t run the ball at all.

The only thing real about preseason is the injuries. Oh, and the ticket prices. Remember that.

Fuller’s off to a great start to his career! At least this time he wasn’t injured by his own team mate!

This game is almost unwatchable because of all the flags. If this is the future of the NFL, I’m not interested.

Penalties are unreal. It’s gotta be 15 flags already. Killed Clausens first drive which wasn’t looking too terrible.
