Bears rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller made a quick exit from tonight’s preseason game.
Fuller, the Bears’ first-round pick, suffered an ankle injury while he was being blocked running down the field on the opening kickoff, and he went to the locker room.
The good news is the injury didn’t look serious: Fuller was walking on the sideline without assistance and did not appear to be in pain.
Reports out of Bears camp have indicated that Fuller is playing well and should be ready to play a significant role on the defense from Week One. As long as he’s healthy.
