Lynch is expected to make a cameo at best tonight

Marshawn Lynch AP

Tonight, the Seahawks host the Chargers in preseason action.  For running back Marshawn Lynch, it won’t be about that action, boss.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Lynch is expected to participate in only a couple of plays tonight, with no touches.

Last year, Lynch had five carries in the entire preseason.  In 2012, he also had five carries in the preseason.

This time around, his holdout could result in even fewer than five carries during the games that don’t count.

Those season ticket holders want to see their favorite players on the field in these expensive yet meaningless games.

    Yay, they get their wish.

Better be giving him more than 5 carries in the preseason if he ever wants to reach the elite status of AP!

Pretty soon we can start crowning any champions in this tournament of avoiding injuries.

BTW, that “investigation” involving Lynch turned out to be completely bogus. If this site is going to report the potential involvement of Lynch it should also follow up with a report of his complete innocence regarding the situation.

This is what I’m talking about – keep Lynch healthy until it counts. There’s NO ONE in the NFC that can legitimately beat us as long as we stay healthy. Hawks are head & shoulders above everyone else – not even close. Not even debatable.

    GO HAWKS!

My comment, like Lynch, …no comment. Which of course is a contradiction into and of itself because it is an actual comment, even though its not. Kaspische?
