Brian Orakpo leaves with ankle injury

The Redskins are down a starting outside linebacker as they take on the Ravens on Saturday night.

Brian Orakpo left the game with an ankle injury and his return is called questionable by the team with halftime drawing close. Second-round pick Trent Murphy is seeing time with the first team while Orakpo is out of the game.

Orakpo’s loss comes on a night that’s seen good work from the Redskins pass rush. Jason Hatcher and Ryan Kerrigan each have sacks and Joe Flacco has been hit a handful of other times as the Redskins front seven wins their share of battles up front.

That’s added up to just three points for Baltimore, but not a lead for Washington as their starting offense has struggled to do much of anything less than a week after a weak performance against the Browns.
