Sammy Watkins won’t play today for Bills against Bucs

Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins returned to practice this week, but he’s not ready for game action.

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Watkins won’t play against the Buccaneers tonight.

The Bills have been tight-lipped about his condition since he left last week’s game with a rib injury.

So while he did some individual drills this week, the idea of going against someone from another team is clearly too much of a risk at this point.

There’s been no indication he’s going to miss regular season time, so this is likely just a precautionary night off.

Watkins cannot save this sorry excuse of a franchise.

Watkins out, Evans in trouble, Beckham out, Cooks ailing….. sounds like the average first round WR draft.

A rookie WR doesn’t need practice time with a 2nd year QB does he? Everything will be just fine.

Good move! No sense playing him and risking further damage. He’ll be ready to go against the Bears.

Chazier kicked him, it was uncalled for. He’ll be fine for the regular season. GO BILLS! Bon Jovi SUCKS! Stay classy Pittsburgh!

He’s good but good players look average in Buffalo.

Stay on the bench until they find a QB who can get you the ball Sam. That might mean we won’t see you until the end of your rookie contract though.

“This guy is the next Randy Moss”. No , no , he is not.
What he is , is an overpriced wideout who cost the team’s front office two number one picks.

Is anybody playing for the Bills tonight? New York, the major metropolis with zero teams.

    Have a nice day,
    Toronto?
