The Raiders began the process of getting to the 75-man roster limit, with seven releases Sunday.

According to Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com, the Raiders cut the following players: Tight end Kyle Auffray, offensive tackle Emmett Cleary, linebacker Justin Cole, wide receiver Mike Davis, defensive tackle Torrell Troup, cornerback Jansen Watson and wide receiver Rahsaan Vaughn.

None of the cuts were a surprise, and they’ll have to pare eight more from the roster before Tuesday’s deadline.

Davis will be an asset to another team. Too bad he didn’t get a fair chance.

Cleveland is the official “Factory of Sadness” but every year Oakland tries to steal that crown.

Cleveland is the official “Factory of Sadness” but chefs fans needn’t be envious as it’s very likely that their sorry team will be back to picking in the top-5 (after the 2013 aberration) .

SO you are saying that the Raiders will be picking #1 then? Because the Chiefs will finish at least 3 games ahead of the Raiders

You like to say the Raiders are the worst team in the league. And then you brag about the Chiefs being better. Guess that’s what you have to settle for when your team goes two decades without a single playoff victory.
